21

In our society, the number 21 signifies the start of adulthood. The number 21 may mean a wake-up call to those who are still living in their fantasies which only serves to plunge them deeper into the abyss of naivety. Fantasies, to a certain extent, symbolise optimism and hope in life. However, for individuals who are still naive about life, fantasies only deter them from being more mature. Some may beg to differ, but this is the truth that surfaces from experiences.

I am the youngest in the family, and certainly the most doted 1 in the family too. Many ll envy me, but I ll not indulge myself in that contentment. Great men arise from hardship, and my lifestyle is definitely not so tough. Don't misunderstand me. I am thankful to God for giving me loving parents and siblings. However, I ll want to grow in adversities. I want to be great. I want to be someone whom you will look up to. I want to be an inspiration.

My life has been a smooth-sailing 1, but I realize that in order to grow, I Need to Choose to get out of my comfort zone. Every decision is influenced by a variety of choices. I choose to be great, and I believe I will be great.

However, if I am doing so without
God, I can never be great. There are many rich men who claimed to be the wisest of all because of their amassed wealth. Well.. They are definitely the foolish among all. Obsession with wealth will only blind u and not make u great. U may be great in the eyes of the being, but
U are dirt in the eyes of God if u think u are great because of your wealth.

There are debates all around the world. They can surround topics like politics, economics, ethnics and etc. All these ll
always remain as moot points, for there are no definite truths behind suggested hypothesises. Even though these hypothesises may come from great men from the past and present. The only truth that we can rely on is the Bible which is never conflicting.

As I turn 21, I pray that I can be great for God. I know I will be great when I am with God. :)
